Specifically designed to enhance the appearance and protect your tarmac drive. Thompson's Quick Drying Drive Seal protects from oils and fuel stains and general weather damage whilst giving your drive an attractive, low sheen finish. This slip resistant seal is ready for vehicle traffic after just 4 hours.

Preparation

Always ensure the area to be painted is dry and free from dust, dirt and anything that may affect adhesion.

• Scrub with a stiff bristle brush to remove dust, dirt and moss.
• Remove grease and oil stains using Thompsons Oil & Driveway Cleaner.
• Fill any holes with fresh concrete or cold cure tarmac.
• Allow new tarmac to dry for 90 days before applying Thompson’s Quick Drying Drive Seal.

Application

Always perform a test on a small inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility, and always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.

• Use on a dry day and when temperatures are above 10℃.
• Stir thoroughly before and during use.
• Use a long pile roller and tray, and fully load the roller.
• Paint from the furthest point away from the house.
• Allow to dry for 4 hours before applying a second coat.
• The drive can be used 4 hours after the final coat, on cold & damp days, drying and re-coat times will take longer.

Aftercare & Storage

Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area away from heat, sources of ignition and sunlight. The shelf life of this product in airtight containers is at least 3 years.

Oil and petrol spills should be removed as soon as possible with warm water.
